Constitutional Court of the People

The idea is to establish a court that isn’t solely composed of traditional legal elites but includes representatives directly accountable to the people. This court would serve as a guardian of the constitution, ensuring that government actions remain in line with the public’s interests.

Calling a Constitutional Convention

UAR advocates for convening a constitutional convention—a forum where elected delegates or citizen representatives come together to review and potentially revise the nation’s foundational document. This process is meant to address systemic shortcomings and ensure that the constitution adapts to contemporary democratic needs.

Proposing Amendments and Legislation

The movement plans to put forward specific amendments and new legislation. These proposals aim to: Update outdated legal provisions, Enhance transparency and accountability in government, Strengthen the balance of power between branches of government, Embed modern democratic values into the legal framework.

Restoring the Fairness Doctrine

The movement advocates for the restoration of the Fairness Doctrine, which requires broadcasters to present balanced and fair discussions on controversial issues, thereby enhancing public discourse and ensuring that multiple perspectives are represented in media coverage.
